I log onto the Internet gun auctions and the first search term I always enter is "Mauser." The second is usually "8mm." I pass by the new rifles at gun shows and search out those dark corners of the sales racks where some old Mauser has been shoved out of popular inspection.
Foremost among my "gun nut" afflictions, even greater than my interest in the in-line muzzleloader or slug shotgun, is a fascination with the Mauser bolt action rifle. No cleaning rod but leather sling was included (very rough). Was a little disappointed to get an unmarked one, but pretty excited for an all milled gun. Not terribly accurate in my first round of shooting, but that might just be me. Bore was very dirty, but it all cleaned up reasonably well. It all seems in good condition after cleaning. The bore is poor at best and was the only thing that kept me from a 5-star rating. It was missing the front sight hood and cleaning rod (both can be easily obtained for relatively cheap so not a big deal). Hardly any finish left on the metal but not a lot of pitting.

They were delivered with other defense products in the 1950`s and 60`s to Ethiopia. These rifles come straight out of Ethiopia. We do have a hand select option available for an additional $50.00. Rifles may have cracks in the upper hand guard. The condition ranges from good to very good. These rifles were made after WW2 by Zastava in Yugoslavia. We just received another shipment of M48 rifles.
